From 6 September 2021, 1201 UTC onwards: competitors may register on a first come-first serve basis until the maximum quota is reached.

Registration open for 2021 Formula Kite World Championships
Registration is now open for the 2021 Formula Kite World Championships, to be held 11-17 October 2021 in Torregrande, Sardinia, Italy.
The maximum entry quota is 100 men (3 fleets) and 70 women (2 fleets).

IKA paid-up members ONLY may register athletes in stages as follows:
- Until 16 August 2021, 1200 (noon) UTC: any competitor (by name) ranked in the top 10 of the World Rankings as of that date; plus up to 2 competitors per country.
- Until 23 August 2021, 1200 (noon) UTC: countries that have registered 2 competitors may register one additional competitor on a first come-first served basis.
- Until 30 August 2021, 1200 (noon) UTC: countries that have registered 3 competitors may register one additional competitor on a first come-first served basis.
