Audi confirms Öhlins as official suspension supplier for F1 team
Audi Revolut F1 Team has formalized a technical partnership with Öhlins to supply dampers for its inaugural Formula 1 campaign. The agreement builds on a long-standing relationship between the companies that previously included 13 Le Mans victories for Audi Sport.
Formalized technical collaboration
Audi confirms Ohlins as its official suspension supplier for the inaugural campaign of the Audi Revolut F1 Team. The Swedish company, which became part of the Brembo Group in January 2025, has been working with Audi on a joint development programme covering engineering, testing, and damper performance since before the team’s grand prix debut back in March. This formal agreement coincides with Audi’s first campaign in Formula 1 and formalizes a long-running technical relationship between the two companies. Urban Herslof, the Ohlins Group Engineering Director, says the agreement represents a significant point in the company’s motorsport history. Herslof says the company is "proud to partner with Audi Revolut F1 Team in its debut season."
Historical performance and upcoming races
Audi Sport competed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans using Ohlins dampers across several generations of its sports prototypes between 1999 and 2016, a period that yielded 13 overall victories at the French endurance classic. This historical involvement with the Ingolstadt manufacturer also included the 2000s, when Ohlins supplied dampers for the Audi DTM programme, including for the Audi A4 DTM that was introduced in 2004. Urban Herslof, the Ohlins Group Engineering Director, says the partnership provides a "powerful platform" for Ohlins to "extend our collaboration with Audi and help shape a new era of automotive performance." Herslof also says the deal represents a "defining moment for our legacy in motorsport." The Audi Revolut F1 Team faces these scheduled races to conclude the 2026 season:
